What to expect: Medicare Made Easy Seminar
The Medicare Made Easy seminar is a group educational meeting. During the meeting, we will not discuss specific plan details, pricing, or carriers. Instead, we will discuss the types of plans available, eligibility requirements, cost considerations, travel considerations, etc. Then, after attending the seminar, you may contact me later – or ask me to contact you– for a personal needs consultation to see which specific plans may be right for you. We encourage you to bring anyone to the meeting who helps you with your healthcare decisions.

Needs-Based Consultation
When we meet, we’ll want to know when you will be eligible for Medicare Parts A and B. We can even help you learn if you may be qualified for extra financial help. To help you find the plan that best meets your needs, we’ll discuss your preferences related to budget and affordability, your healthcare providers and network considerations, drug formularies and preferred pharmacy, preferred facilities, and whether you have any additional specific needs like frequent or extended travel outside the area.
Once we identify a suitable plan, we’ll review the pricing, cost sharing, and general plan limits. We’ll also review out-of-network coverage options. We’ll also let you know what to expect when your plan will become effective and if/when benefits might change in the future. We’ll help you familiarize yourself with the resources available to you with the plan. Once you are ready to enroll, we can help you with the application—there may be several ways to apply or application options may be more limited. We make it our business to know the best way to work with each carrier and plan so you don’t have to spend time figuring it out.

Your First Call For Service
Our service doesn’t stop with your plan enrollment. We are here to help you familiarize yourself with the plan, understand the benefits, and get the most out of it. There are often extras available, and it’s worth discovering. You will usually save more by using preferred providers; we can help you learn how to find a provider. Hopefully, everything goes as expected. However, we know sometimes things don’t go as well as expected. We can also help you learn how to file a complaint or appeal a claims decision. If you need help with billing, want to change plans, or cancel your enrollment, we will help.
We will also explain the potential effect of plan changes on future options. If your plan changes annually, we will offer time to review your Annual Notice of Change for your current plan, discuss any changes to your needs and situation, and discuss emerging market trends. We closely monitor new benefits and changing market conditions so you don’t have to.
* We do not offer every available plan in your area. Any information we provide is limited to those plans we do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE to get information on all of your options.
